Moshi Higoro was a poet apprenticed to Yoritomo Yoyonagi, but he did not excelled in that art. In 1172 he was a member of the Mantis expedition with Moshi Kalani to the Ivory Kingdoms during the Destroyer War. His skills as an artist came him to cartography and drew the first maps of the area claimed by his clan. Higoro decided which names the newly explored places deserved. [1]
