Moshi Goraiku was a bushi of the Centipede Clan and the founder of the Goraiku family as vassal family of the Moshi.
Centipede[]
Goraiku was a devout follower of Lady Amaterasu and a brilliant Centipede samurai. During the Clan War created elite fighting teams that could protect Tani Senshio, and raised as a minor advisor to the Centipede Clan Champion, Moshi Jukio. [1]
Mantis Clan[]
Rikugunshokan[]
Under the rule of Jukio's daughter, Moshi Wakiza, the Centipede became the Moshi family of the Mantis Clan, Lady Sun committed jigai, and Goraiku was appointed as Rikugunshokan. [1]
Vassal family[]
Jukio returned to rule the Moshi after Wakiza's death, and founded the Goraiku family to honor, and contain the ambition of Goraiku. Lord Sun was worshipped by Goraiku as fervently as Jukio had ever venerated Lady Sun, and he made a festival to Yakamo as celebration for the Goraiku family. Among the guests was Hida Hitoshi, who became his friend after the event. Crab samurai would train with the Goraiku in exchange for an equal number of Goraiku's men to serve under Hitoshi. [1]
Yakamo Seido[]
Goraiku ordered to build Yakamo Seido, the first in the lands of the Moshi to officially recognize the ascension of Lord Yakamo. Several of those who tended the temple founded the Order of the Sun, and Goraiku planned to be one of the first monks to join this order. [1]
Goraiku Dojo[]
Graiku oversaw the Goraiku Dojo, which was run by his son Goraiku Tishi, continuing the family tradition of intense physical training combined with a thorough grounding in guerrilla warfare, kyujutsu and kenjutsu. [2]
