Morning Blessing Temple was located at Kyuden Asako. It was a three-storied pagoda which was built in the early 8th century. It was sometimes referred to as the "Feathered Temple" for the style of its roof tiles and eaves. It was a masterpiece of wooden building. It was built close to the Heavenly Voice Temple. In the bells of the temple lived I-Chi, a gentle bell spirit. [1]
