Monsoon

Monsoon

Monsoon was a Rokugani seasonal reversing wind accompanied by corresponding changes in precipitation, which appeared at the end of the summer. The monsoon turned the lands to mud, flooding the rice fields across the Empire and heralding the onset of autumn. [1] Sometimes its effects caused victims. [2]

Colonies[]

The Monsoon season lasted from mid-June to end of September, the time for samurai to prepare armies for war and peasant for planting. If rains were delayed or even fail to come at all, a season of drought spread famine on the Colonies, unless Rokugan shipped food. [3]
