The Miromoto Bushi school had a history stretching back to Mirumoto himself, who used both his Wakizashi and Katana when in battle. This style, known as niten, creating a rivaly between the followers Mirumoto and the Kakita Bushi school founded by Kakita. The students of the Mirumoto style are also known to train alongside the Togashi family, which caused some to wonder if they are bushi or monks. [1]

Since Mirumoto's son, Mirumoto Yojiro, and Agasha worked clossely in the Dawn of the Empire, the Mirumoto Bushi were highly attuned to the Five Elements, and Agasha Shugenja understood the basics of tactics and strategy. [2]
