The Ministry of the Center was made up of heralds, advisors, court attendants, scholars, and court scribes, of the Ivory Court. The Minister of Courtesy as its head, serving the Imperial Governor of the Colonies, and the position was originally created by Otomo Suikihime. She appointed her family members or trusted allies into important positions within this Ministry. [1]
Duties[]
Bureaucrats of this ministry had to attend the Governor and any visiting Imperials and other major dignitaries. They were also in charge of the maintenance of written records, compilations of colonial histories, and the supply and training of court scribes. This Ministry also maintained a court diviner who supplied omens and an accurate calendar by which to plan yearly duties. Spiritual advisors were also supplied. [1]
