The Ministry of Taxation was part of the Ivory Court and managed Colonial funds and oversaw taxation. The position was originally created by the Imperial Governor of the Colonies Otomo Suikihime, to whom they served. [1] Its head was the Minister of the Census. [2]
Duties[]
This ministry maintained the treasury of the Colonies, oversaw the Colonial census, regulated the accumulation of taxes, determined tax exceptions, and regulated the expansion of the Colonies. It was directly dependent upon the Ministry of Defense and Justice, and the Ministry of Rites was directly dependent upon this Ministry. [1]
