Daidoji Merchants
Merchant samurai served the will of their clan, rather than their own ends, such as the Akindo or heimin merchants. Noble Merchants had a family name, and performed an important and distinct functions. The Yasuki, Daidoji and Ide were families with well-known Noble Merchants. [1]
