Matsu Seishin was a minor daimyō of the Lion Clan who had Ikoma Eiji as his senior courtier. He hosted Kakita Asami during her time as a hostage to the Lion. In 1123 Seishin eventually released Asami after the contested city of Toshi Ranbo was placed under Imperial authority. Bayushi Iwane was instrumental on such decision. [1]
