Masataka was born to two ronin parents, Masataka offered his services as a mercenary to the Lion, served as a yojimbo to a Scorpion courtier, and worked for five years in the Kaiu Wall. Eventually, he decided to create his own empire establishing his own racketeering and smuggling network. Masataka eliminated smaller rival cartels, and soon other criminal organizations offered their fealty in exchange for safety. He moved to Nazo Mori to make the dreaded forest into the base of his operations. [1]
