Mak'irtch was a Nezumi Shaman of the Stained Paw Tribe.
Dreams[]
Mak'irtch was the strongest and oldest shaman of the Stained Paw Tribe, who excelled specifically at magic involving and understanding dreams. Eventually, their tribe joined the One Tribe, led by the Chief of Chiefs Kan'ok'ticheck. [1]
Rememberers in Danger[]
In 1169 Kan'ok'ticheck was plagued with dreams, but when he awaken could not remember them. Mak'irtch saw it was important and put his Name in danger. She would go to lend her Name to his and together they could find what Kan'ok'ticheck were trying to remember. After the ritual they realized Tomorrow did not come for the nezumi. It came for their dreams, it threatened the Transcendents. The great Shaman and currently Wikki'thich-hie Te'tik'kir had used the dreams of Kan'ok'ticheck to tell what was happening. [2]
Chasing Tomorrow[]
This year the magic of the Tomorrow's Hourglass was used by Mak'irtch to allow almost the entire Nezumi race enter the realm of dreams and aid the Transcendents fight against Tomorrow. While they were successful in beating Tomorrow they were unable to return to their bodies, leaving no more than fifty Nezumi left alive in the world. [3] [4]
