Madame Karaku was a sharp-eyed old woman with bad temper who run Madame Karaku's Inn, where old, used-up geisha went. There were rumors that she was an evil sorceress who drained the lifeblood from her charges. It was not true, what happened it was that nobody liked her. [1]
