Light Armor

Light Armor was the traditional armor worn by the samurai in Rokugan, worn by those who did not engage in combat regularly. It provided a fair amount of protection while not comprimising mobility too much. Infantry and scouts would often favor it over Ashigaru armor, as it had thicker armor plates.

Appearance

Light armor consisted of protection for the torso and head, leaving the limbs bare or minimally covered. The lower portions of limbs were left unarmored for ease of movement. A helmet or reinforced mask could be worn with it, but were not considered integral parts of the armor.^{[citation needed]}
