L5r:Clan Magistrates

If you are one of those fans who over the years has developed a special attachment to a particular clan (and, let's face it, L5R is designed to create that attachment in all of us), you may want to volunteer yourself to be a Clan Magistrate. Clan Magistrates are those who have volunteered to help get articles relating to a particular clan or other organization up to an exceptional level of quality. The idea being that if you focus on one thing -- and make it something that you already know and love -- the results you will create will be much better.

If you are wondering specifically what a Clan Magistrate should do, here are some suggestions:

  • Check the recent changes on a regular basis for edits to your clan's pages.
  • Check the new page list regularly for new articles relating to your clan. Remember that new articles about people should also be listed on your clan's Samurai of page.
  • Work on any articles about your clan that are in the stub categories or on the cleanup list, and make them into clean, full articles. And remember, checking for stubs is especially easy for Great Clans, since they all have their own stub categories.
  • You may also want to sign up at your clan's portal. If your clan does not yet have a portal, you may want to create one.

Please feel free to add your name to the list, even if your clan already has a Magistrate. If you wish to volunteer for a group that is not listed, feel free to simply add it and your name to the list.
