Castle of the Dragonfly
The Dragonfly Palace, Tonbo Palace, [1] was the ancestral seat of power of the Dragonfly Clan, [2] also known as the Castle of the Dragonfly, was a castle near the Dragon border. [3]
Dragonfly Holding[]
The Dragonfly Palace was a Dragon holding until the year 704. After the Battle of Kyūden Tonbo it became the ancestral castle of the newly minted Dragonfly Clan. [4] The minerals in the soil of its gardens leeched the color from fruit and flower alike, turning them an eerie bone white. Dragonfly Glass was used in their decoration, making colorful mosaic pathways and benches which depicted dragonflies in flight. The plants from this garden had absorbed so much of the odd soil could sometimes had odd effects. The castle itself was a sprawling structure built with hospitality in mind rather than defense, two wings branching out from a central courtyard. Shiro Tonbo was also decorated with Dragonfly Glass.
