Kuni Osuki was an Emerald Magistrate of the Crab Clan.
Badger's Destruction[]
Osuki was sent to Badger Clan lands in 1126. He arrived to discover the clan had been all but destroyed by a monstrous oni. [1] He reported the incident back to Otosan Uchi, but with the Emperor in frail health and rumors of similar incidents running rampant, it was easy enough to forget. [2]
Death[]
Osuki claimed to the Imperial Court that he and his men destroyed the rampaging oni, Hideo no Oni, despite it was not true. Ichiro Rinko, daughter of the Badger Clan Champion Ichiro Kihongo, was sent at Otosan Uchi to refute Osuki's report. She was a fourteen years old samurai-ko just pass her gempukku, but Rinko dogged Osuki at every step. Eventually one of his own men recanted the Emperor the truth, and Osuki was forced to commit seppuku. [3]
