Kempai was a ronin and the scribe of the Asako treasurer Asako Nanasato. He secretly was a bloodspeaker of a cultist cell at Kyuden Asako, alongside with Asako Kyoji, son of the master of the Asako Henshin, Kyoji's lover Asako Chisato, and the powerful courtier Asako Nichiren. [1]
Ruby of Iuchiban[]
In 1151 Kyoji released a dark spirit, Boutoku, from the Ruby of Iuchiban. In [[1160] the cell believed they would doom the Asako family whit its aid. [2]
