Kasuga Kumon was a corrupt bushi of the Tortoise Clan who led a smuggling circle in the Karada district of Otosan Uchi. Kumon was doomed by the appearance of Ide Tenseko, an ambitious merchant who arranged for Kumon to be arrested and convicted on trumped-up charges. Tenseko became the unchallenged oyabun Lord in the Ekohikei. [1]
