The Garanto Province was one of the northernmost Phoenix provinces, of the Isawa family. [1] It was renamed as Kaitō Province after the Kaito family [2] were elevated to full fledged family.
History[]
In the Early Fifth century a demon terrorized the northern mountain range bordering Rokugan, desecrating shrines and destroying villages, and threw the entire Garanto Province into disarray. Isawa Kaito sacrificed herself to destroy the demon. [1]
