Kaisha was the basic maneuvering unit of the 
armies. It was the lowest tier to use hata to guide its movements and to provide a rally point. It was made of seven guntai, five infantry and two archery, for a total of one hundred fifty two troops. It was commanded by a mounted Chui and his five mounted Shoko Kanbu, one of which acted as a flag bearer for the Kaisha. [1]
