Izumi was a clan ronin samurai-ko who had lost all faith in Bushido and the Celestial Order. She was a small thin woman with a gloomy, mournful air about her, who would run away to save her life from a danger or any challenge she eventually had to face. Izumi moved to Boubi, a ronin village in Naishou province and became part of a ronin group led by Maeda, who commanded other four ronin, Takuhito, Oyami, Satoru and Tsuruaka, who protected the village from the wave of murders and disappearances in the province. A group of samurai visitors investigated the crimes and exposed a Bloodspeaker cell as the guilty of all the violent events. [1]
