Agasha Shiriko of House Izaku was daimyo of the Izaku family. She was adopted by the family founders, Izaku Tsuru and Asako Miruko after her parents died from the Wasting Disease during the Clan War. [1]

Izaku Daimyo[]

During the War of Spirits, a disgraced henshin and follower of Hantei XVI named Yeiseo demanded to have access to the Izaku Library. The Steel Chrysanthemum claimed control of the library to gain access to all of the spell scrolls and nemuranai saved within its walls. Tsuru and Miruko were killed by Yeiseo for not granting access to the library, making Shiriko the new daimyo by default.

Yeiseo turned his attention to Shiriko, asking her to swear allegiance to the Steel Chrysanthemum and open the library to his followers. Shiriko consented, but after she swore fealty, she took all the powerful spells and hid them in the depths of the library. Shiriko threatened to burn all of the spell caches if anyone would attempt to take them from her and use them against Rokugan. [1]

Vengeance[]

All the while, Shiriko organized a group of shugenja and samurai among her followers to prepare to revolt once the opportunity arose. After several months, news came to the Izaku that the Steel Chrysanthemum had been defeated by Toturi's armies. Knowing that the time was right, Shiriko ordered the group to fight the Hantei's minions. As vengeance for her foster parents' deaths, she beheaded Yeiseo herself and offered the henshin's head to the local magistrates. Afterwards, the library once again attained its peace and Shiriko returned to her original, meek self. [1]
