Iuchi Takuya was a shugenja of the Unicorn Clan.
Appearance[]
Takuya featured a hooked nose and an angular jaw, and rich brown eyes that matched his hair. [1]
Blamed by the Phoenix[]
In 1123 during a trip to the Phoenix's Shrine of the Ki-Rin in the Phoenix lands with his mare Mayu, Takuya was instrumental to support Isawa Kosori on restoring Hōseki Pond Shrine's balance, which had been endangered by the appearance of a djinn. Takuya was blamed by the Isawa for the presence of the gaijin spirit, [1] and the right of pilgrimage to the Shrine of the Ki-Rin was revoked by the Phoenix. [2]
