Isawa Genkei was a renowned shugenja of the Phoenix Clan. After his yōjimbō died in a riding acciden he hired a group of samurai to escort him from Otosan Uchi to the Isawa Elemental Academies, for transporting several artifacts. Eventually the supposed dead yōjimbō appeared, the man in the samurai's charge was exposed as being an evil spirit masquerading as Genkei and the artifacts to be tainted. [1]
