Ikoma Ayano was a samurai of the Lion. In 1123 he was sent by his lord Ikoma Anakazu from Otosan Uchi to the Lion-Unicorn border. There he reported to Ikoma Tsanuri that Anakazu and Ujiaki ordered to supplement Lion supplies with those from Onon Village. The peasant militia was decimated on the ensuing Lion raid on the village.
