Ikoma Arimi was a samurai of the Lion Clan.

Arimi's sterling reputation was ruined when her lone indiscretion was exposed by her many enemies. Requesting ritual suicide to cleanse her family of this shame, her spiteful lord gave her a wooden practice sword to complete the ceremony, intending to cast her under further disgrace. Regardless, she impaled herself upon the blunt weapon, erasing any doubt as to her honor and shaming all who had disbelieved her. A statue to her memory still watched over the Firefly Plains and the City of Honor's Sacrifice was renamed after her acts. [1]
