Ikoma Anakazu was the daimyo of the Ikoma family. He married with her beloved, Asako Akari, and the couple bore a daughter, [1] Ikoma Tsanuri. [2]

Lion-Unicorn Conflict[]

Betrothal[]

After the return of the Unicorn to Rokugan they were engaged with the Lion Clan regarding the property of the southernmost ancestral lands of the Ki-Rin. After three years working toward a peace with the Lion Clan, Shinjo Altansarnai had brokered a treaty. Anakazu had to dissolve his marriage in order he might wed to Altansarnai, the Unicorn Clan Champion. [1] Champion Akodo Arasou ordered Ikoma Anakazu to forswear his family so that he could fulfill the conditions of the marriage arrangement that had been agreed upon by both champions. [3]

Broken Arrangement[]

It was established a dowry of Unicorn battle steeds to the Lion, and the Unicorn were surprised that by Ikoma custom, the wife had to take the husband's name and join his lands. Eventually Altansarnai decided to break the political arrangement, earning a great loss of honor and leaving the clan in the brisk of war. [1] His wife was instrumental for Altansarnai's decision. [3]

The Conflict Continues[]

As the conflict continued, and with the lack of proper Lion leadership, the Lion Army's supply became shortened. Anakazu and Ikoma Ujiaki devised a strategy after analyzing information from all the supply lines, and they sent Ikoma Ayano to Ikoma Tsanuri, ordering to take Onon Village, a bordering Unicorn village, for supplies. [4]

Reunited[]

In the Month of Ryoshun Matsu Tsuko reversed the couple's divorce, and the family reunited. [5]
