Ide Nakatada was a Shugenja of the Unicorn Clan who studied at the Iuchi Shugenja school with passion. He later moved to Ryoko Owari Toshi. He was very distracted and absent-minded, whose mind was always thinking in esoteric problems of magical theory and theology. [1]
Opium War[]
Nakatada was nephew of Ide Baranato, who had two sons, Ide Michikane and Ide Asamitsu. When Michikane died by an opium overdose in 1122, Baranato devised a plan to begin an Opium War. Nakatada and Asamitsu pulled off a daylight burglary from the Shosuro cartel warehouse, and Baranato used his magic to plant in a guard the impression he sounded as Soshi Seiryoku, the leader of the Soshi cartel. The other cartels were also attacked in their opium activities by other Nakatada's relatives. [2] Nakatada sunk a riverboat using his magic, while Baranato dealt with the defensive magic of the shugenja onboard. [3]

Nakatada died in the attack to the Shosuro cartel's main warehouse. [4]
