Ide Hometsu was the son of Ide Kojike, an important noble of the Unicorn Clan. In 1125 Hometsu was sent to the family estates in the village of Mimura to introduce himself and build relationships with the local nobility. While Hometsu was there, his father was murdered. The local Lord, Ekaido, had a great dislike on Kojike and how he had been used his estate. As soon Ekaido knew Kojike's death instead advising the young heir, the Lord framed him. A local peasant woman was found murdered in his home, and the magistrates arrested Hometsu, who was ejected from the village. [1]
