Ide Gonkuro was a magistrate of the Unicorn Clan.

Gonkuro was appointed to Mori Kage Village, a village near Morikage Toshi. He had been investigating the disappearance of Asako Nakiro, [1] an Asako Inquisitor who had lived in the village. [2]
Death[]
After Gonkuro began his investigations, he was visited often [1] by the Kolat and in 1123 and aged Gonkuro poisoned himself to escape them. In his dying moments appeared the outlaw Usagi Ozaki, heir of the recently disbanded Hare Clan. Gonkuro warned Ozaki to beware the Kolat before he died. The house bursted into flames and Ozaki narrowly escaped the Imperial Magistrates who arrived the next day. [3]
