Ide Dosemi was an emissary and shikken of the Unicorn Clan.
Pacifist[]
Dosemi was a pacifist. As a young man he defused a squabble between the Otaku and Matsu, being invited by the Imperial Court to become a shikken, an Imperial peacekeeper. The Lion Clan experienced his intervention on numerous occasions, and respected his forthright and honest ways. [1]
Clan War[]
Dosemi was unable to stop the Lion-Crane War, and he was invited to Emperor's winter court at Kyuden Asako in 1126 to give it one final effort. He came escorted by Moto Chang, whose role was to unsettle the Ide’s fellow diplomats, giving the old man another advantage in negotiations. Dosemi was particularly concerned about the arrival of the Kuni Daimyo Kuni Yori at court and the corresponding Crab activity near Beiden Pass, the crossroads of the Empire. [2]
