Ichiro Yoshinobu was the Badger Clan Champion under the rule of Hantei XX.
Revolutionaries takes the control[]
During the Great Famine and army of revolutionaries, called the People's Legion, seized the northern Lion lands, isolating the Badger from the Empire. The leader of the revolters, Asahime, demanded free travel over Badger's lands, which was refused by Yoshinobu. The Legion defeated the Badger forces, who turned into guerrilla tactics. [1]

In 669 the Emperor rallied the Clans and destroyed the revolters. [2] The Emerald Champion Akodo Kenburo granted Yoshinobu his own sword, the Ogre's Knife, for their resistence. [1]
