Ichirō Hinata was a sapper of the Badger Clan. His duties involved checking traps, fixing or replacing them as necessary, and he also undertook patrol duty. His mood could change remarkably quickly, so he was gruff and defensive one minute, and heartily welcoming the next. A sturdily built mature man, Hinata had dyed strips of his greying hair black and white—the colors of the Badger mon. [1]
