House of the Blue Tanuki

The House of the Blue Tanuki was a legendary sake house at Kyuden Gotei owned by the same peasant family for generations, and they traditionally take the name of Kincho. A Tanuki spirit under the name of ^[1] Kincho the Sixth was the innkeeper of the House of the Blue Tanuki at the start of the reign of Iweko I. ^[2] It was considered a den of iniquity, but at the same time a worthy tool to refresh the warriors. ^[3]
