House Enour was one of the Houses of Dahab in the city of Medinaat al-Salaam.
Founding[]
It was one of the three original Houses, and the ancestral enemy of the House Menjari. by a Caliph decree in the 7th century, and it was elevated as a Great House fifty years later. In the 12th century its leader was Hasib al-Enour, and after he was assassinated his wife Rana al-Enour became the new leader. [1]
Duty[]
Officially was the link between the city and the foreign kingdoms. It decided what could be sold in the Jewel. Its decision to allow to sell the Ivory Kingdoms goods had confronted the House with the Sultan, who had edicted fornidden this trade. [1]
