Honorable Poverty was Suzume's philosophy of necessity. It was almost universally respected and adhered to within the Sparrow Clan. Excess, waste, and opulence were all key examples of tenants opposing this philosophy. "Keeping a pure view of what is necessary and what is not leads to a pure, enlightened spirit." [1]
