Hiruma Otokogi was the sensei of the Hiruma Bushi school. He died in 716 fighting The Maw's army during the Siege of Daylight. He had told his student Hiruma Sokokai to lead the students out, but he would not turn. [1] Otokogi had convinced his lord, the Hiruma Daimyo Hiruma Tadanori, to flee to safety, so the ruling line could survive. [2]
