Hiruma Noriko was a bushi of the Crab Clan. She lost her leg while rescuing the artificer Asahina Setsuna from a venture into the Shadowlands. The two collaborated on countless designs to help the warrior return to the field, and the resulting prosthetic, lacquered and inscribed with countless protective charms, still remained in the armory of Carpenter Castle.
