The Heeratand, or River of Diamonds, rose in the mountains lining the southern edge of the Sonagiri, a vast plateau which dominated the central region of the Ivory Kingdoms. Bhavyatapura, the City of Splendor, occupied the Heeratand in the center of the Sonagiri. The river meandered southward through broad, fertile flood-plains to the ocean, on an immense delta. Amidst this delta rose the ancestral kingdom of the naga. [1]
