Heart of Yajinden was kept in an iron box, bound in thin chains to protect Yajinden's immortality as a khadi. Iuchiban commanded Yajinden to never touch or seek it. When the Bloodspeaker died in 1165 his command died with him. [1]

In 1167 Iuchi Katamari, the Doomseeker, took a chrysanthemum formed of perfect crystal from the treasures of the Imperial Archives. In the Forest of Dreamers he gave it to Yajinden in exchange of Otaku's Daisho. The crystal sculpture became the iron box that contained the blacksmith's heart. [1]
