Hawk Purists were a group of ronin who banded together during the Heresy of the Five Rings, impersonating a member of the still non-existing Hawk Clan, which would be created merging two Clans of Air, the Scorpion and Crane Clans. When the Heresy was denounced, it became dangerous to continue claiming allegiance to the Hawk, and the former “Purists” scattered, abandoning the technique they had developed. [1]
