The Hammer of Earth was a basic elemental Dai tsuchi crafted in the Kuni forges and assisted by a Kuni Shugenja while still an initiate. The hammers carried a small part of the crafting shugenja's elemental earth, and drew strength from the user's link to the earth kami as well. They usually remained within the Crab Clan, given to samurai or shugenja in the course of their duty. [1]
