Hajime was the watcher of the Tortoise kobune The Silent Bell, commanded by Yoshi. He often rattled his parangu against the rails when he was on watch. Hajime was soundly asleep when the ship came under attack from Skull Tide Gaki, crashing upon the shore. [1]
