Habu was an oyabun heimin who lived at Otosan Uchi prior to the Scorpion Coup. The Isawa family used him as an unknowing accompliance for their bid of power on the political control of the Kanjo district. Habu was contacted by Shiba Omoko, wife to Kanjo's governor Shiba Kagi, a relationship which the Isawa would use to lever Kagi's will. [1]
