The Great Games was a tournament held every year by the Badger in the Castle of the Badger, inviting representatives of every clan in the Empire. The contest, at which sumai was the main event, was usually poorly attended despite the days of revelry that follow. Other games included rock throwing, races across the treacherous mountainside, and other contests of strength and prowess. No Badger Sumai Champion had yet been defeated by a contender from another clan. [1]
