Goro was the old Headman of the Blue Lotus Village in 1160. The village suffered many disappearances, which was finally exposed they were victims of a Hannya who impersonated the elderly silk weaver Grandmother Shinobu. He initially believed the disappearances were young people running away to the big city and that the older people just went on trips, or perhaps met with bandits while traveling. [1]
