The Golden Obi of the Sun Goddess was an obi once possessed by Amaterasu.
Appearance and Abilities[]
The Golden Obi was a thick sash of bright yellow silk. [citation needed] It did not generate light itself, but radiated brightly when a sunlight touched its surface. During night it could iluminate the area nearby, and it could wound a Shadowlands creature. [1]
Centipede Founder[]
The Golden Obi was crafted by the first generation oi the Moshi family. When the original Isawa Moshi, the Centipede Clan Champion Moshi Azami, was an extremely old woman, she walked to the cliffs overlooking the sea and used her magic to soar into the sky. No trace of her was ever found save for her obi. [2]
Toturi Tsudao[]
Moshi Jukio, the Moshi Daimyo, well known for her wisdom and devotion to Lady Sun [3] gave the Golden Obi to Toturi Tsudao, [4] who many believed was the reincarnation of Lady Sun. The obi was lost in the City of the Lost when Tsudao died, and believed destroyed until Lord Sun discovered it and demanded it be returned. [5]
Isawa Sezaru[]
Golden Obi of the Sun Goddess
The obi was eventually discovered by the goblin Skub, who brought it to his master Omoni. At Yajinden's suggestion, Omoni sent one of his creatures to deliver the obi to Isawa Sezaru. [6]
