Genjiro was a monk of the Brotherhood of Shinsei, member of the Order of the Thousand Fortunes. He was obsessed with learning the names of all the Fortunes, and departed from the monastery to get more knowledge. Genjiro's soul was saddened when he also found stories about forgotten, corrupted, even destroyed Fortunes. He moved to Nazo Mori, believing the strange occurrences there were the symptoms of a maddened Fortune. [1]
