Gather the Clouds was a Mastery 6 water spell, an almost accidental discovery by the Unicorn Clan, [1] which allowed the shugenja to nearly sever himself from the spirit world, making him difficult to be harmed. This seclusion worked both ways, making it difficult for the caster to summon the kami. [2]
