Gashadokuro
Gashadokuro was an enormous skeleton composed of the melded bones of the unburied dead, said to be as much as fifteen times the height of a human. Early in the Empire's history, before strict provisions were made to recover, cremate, and properly dispose of all human remains, gashadokuro would arise at the sites of battles and rampage until they were destroyed. They became later very rare, but occasionally, a gashadokuro was found prowling the Shadowlands. [1] A gashakoduro was also found in the Cave of Bloody Ghost Fire, within the dreaded Shadowed Swamps, made by the unremembered and uncelebrated deaths of Hida Chuku's army. [2] This gashakoduro was enchained to Kikyo, Atarashi's armor, and would obey to anyone who don the armor. [3]
